Christian Witnessing - Matthew 28:18-20And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matthew 28:18-20
The gospel wasn't just for the disciples or the people who followed Jesus during his earthly ministry. All nations need to hear the good news of Jesus! The world needs to hear:
• The truth about our condition before God: all people are sinful, and we all deserve God's judgment. It's an offensive message! "...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," Romans 3:23
• The truth about what Christ did for us: even though we are sinners, Christ died on the cross so that we could be forgiven. "And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12
• The truth about receiving God's salvation: Eternal life is for those who trust in Christ. We aren't saved by what we do, but by what Christ did for us. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16
If we truly believe the testimony that Christ gave about himself, we will teach His Word to anyone who will listen. How wonderful it is to see someone saved from the death-grip of sin and brought into the life of Christ!
